Thisworkshop will focus on not just how to perform the Deadlift and Bench Press but how a Personal Trainer can safely and effectively teach their client base these two well-known exercises with extreme detail plus aindepth muscular analysis of both movement patterns. Each exercise a thorough preparation plan is put in place covering foamroller techniques - understanding different postural road blocks - activation exercises and cognitive understanding exercises all very specific to each exercise section and how these will assist one in performing these two actions with a greater functional capacity and understanding. A number of Bench Press and Deadlift variations are included to increase the exercise repertoire of the trainers. These variations include introduction exercises to help one reach the traditional form of each one as well as progressed versions to further work and improve on both movement patterns. In the practical section a clear progression and regression phaseis laid out in whereby exercises are placed in order of when they should be introduced according to how complex or simple they are - stable or unstable - compound or isolated and dynamic versus stationary. Known as the exercise continuum - which is referred to for both the Deadlift and Bench Press movements.
