The Movement Preparation Specialist course moves beyond the "random selection" of exercises common on social media, providing fitness professionals with a systematic, science-based framework for using resistance bands.
This program focuses on the RAMP protocol (Raise, Activate, Mobilize, Potentiate) to transform a standard warm-up into a high-yield preparation phase. Students will learn to use resistance bands not just as a warm-up tool, but as a sophisticated instrument for motor skill development, corrective exercise, and both assisted and resisted strength training.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this program, fitness professionals will be able to:
Implement Systematic Preparation: Apply scientifically proven strategies to transition clients from a resting state to peak performance readiness.
Master Resistance Band Mechanics: Understand the unique physics of elastic resistance to effectively assist or resist strength development across various planes of motion.
Optimize Motor Skill Development: Use bands to provide tactile feedback, cultivating the movement capacities required for complex functional training.
Execute Progressions & Regressions: Competently prescribe exercises for levels ranging from novice to advanced, ensuring safety and appropriate stimulus.
Apply the 5-Pillar Model: Categorize band exercises into five distinct goals: Whole-body prep, Mobility, Activation, Potentiate, and General Strength.
