This course will utilize the “Four Pillars of Movement” and their relationship to efficient performance. The concept of creating Stability through Improving Mobility throughout the body will be explored - as well as - the role that Disassociation plays in enhancing stability. Faulty or inefficient Movement Patterns will be identified in regards to Postural Type - and the use of Eccentric Activation will be explored to enable retraining. The foundation for teaching functional movement - Balance Training will be utilized as a means to effectively enhance motor learning and improved performance. Techniques such a Sequential Training - Proper Queuing - Regression/Progression - as well as - an understanding of the concept of Tolerance and effective Loading will be provided as a means to assist instructors in teaching complex multi-plane movements. The movements demonstrated in this course will focus on beginner to advanced repertoire. However - the focus on any movement training will be on how to correctly and efficiently used the correct sequence and systems of muscles to safely achieve the task to minimize the risk of injury. The basis of every exercise in this course is Stability - Endurance - and Control. The focus of all the exercises presented will be on Eccentric Activation for Greater Strength and Control- Slow Movement Training. Flexibility Training will also be explore through the unique design of the Barrels Special emphasis will be placed on transitions of movement - which will enable the trainer to create an uninterrupted flow of exercises.
