At the end of this course, the learner will have a thorough knowledge and understanding of:
1. How to train women using the GGS guiding principles, including the five pillars of the GGS philosophy, and why training women matters.
2. The biological differences, similarities, variation, and diversity among women including other human variation such as age, genetics, and level of physical fitness.
3. How to train nutrition and eating skills, while remaining within your scope of practice.
4. How to write safe, effective, evidence-based exercise programs that incorporate movement as a whole, including physiological, emotional, and lifestyle considerations specific to women.
5. How to train women in the “real world” to include: supporting psychological well-being, sleep and recovery, coaching behavior change through roadblocks and what it means to be a transformational leader.
