Better Balance is a group fitness class targeted as an entry-level program that enables participants to improve their balance and stability so they can develop confidence and baseline skills.
This foundation will help participants not only establish a basic exercise routine but develop confidence in their abilities so they can progress to another type of fitness program, such as Strength for Life Classes.
This training course is accredited for 6 Continuing Education Credits (CEC).
The training program consists of 1 day (10am-2pm) face-to-face learning session that includes:
*Components of Balance
*Exercise Programming for Balance Improvement
*Gait Analysis
*Safety
*Falls risks
*Build functional stability
