The Reformer Academy Group Instructor Certificate is a comprehensive, evidence-based course designed to equip aspiring Group Exercise Leaders with the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to deliver safe, effective, and results-driven Group Reformer classes.


Program Structure:

Duration: ~6 weeks.

Delivery: Blended learning model with:

Online theory modules.

In-person studio workshops.

Supervised teaching practice.

Assessment:

Written quizzes.

Practical demonstrations.

Case studies.

Curriculum Includes:

Functional anatomy & applied physiology.

Fundamental Reformer Instructor Knowledge: Spring theory, target muscle groups, load progression.

Reformer exercise repertoire: foundational to advanced.

Cueing, sequencing, and class programming.

Reformer machine safety & setup.

Client connection and class management.

Professional standards, ethics, and duty of care.

Course Hours (Total: 150):

10 hrs pre-course prep.

48 hrs in-studio learning.

30 hrs post-course online study.

25 hrs class observation.

25 hrs class participation.

12 hrs practice teaching.

Weekly mentorship + assessment prep.
