The Train-The-Trainer (T3) Program - Spinal Cord Injury is a collaborative initiative by Curtin University, Swinburne University of Technology, Western Sydney University, the University of Melbourne, and Spinal Cord Injury Australia. This program aims to educate fitness trainers working in gyms about spinal cord injuries. It provides essential knowledge on spinal cord anatomy, risk identification, and safe exercise prescription. Fitness trainers who undertake this program will educate themselves about spinal cord injury and physical activity-related knowledge. The ultimate goal is to enhance the health and well-being of individuals with spinal cord injuries (SCI) by promoting their participation in physical activities within community settings.
