The purpose and goals of the Zumba Sentao™ Instructor Training is:
1. To provide a methodology for creating a safe, effective and fun Zumba Sentao class.
2. To teach choreography for rhythms using the core steps and a combination of toning
exercises (in and out of the chair).
3. To provide a basic understanding of the primary muscle groups worked in the various
exercises in the Zumba Sentao workout.
4. To provide safety tips and guidelines for designing a class that will be using a chair as
a prop.
5. To provide modifications and progressions for exercises performed in and out of
the chair.
6. To teach verbal and visual cueing techniques to apply in the class.
7. To teach the benefits of, and design, a proper warm-up and cooldown for a Zumba
Sentao™ class.
