Our Restorative Yoga Teacher Training is a 50-hour online program designed for yoga teachers, health professionals, and dedicated practitioners who wish to deepen their knowledge of the therapeutic and evidence-based benefits of Restorative Yoga. This training blends modern exercise science with traditional yogic wisdom, equipping participants with the skills to create safe, supportive, and accessible classes for diverse populations, including those managing stress, fatigue, chronic illness, or recovery.
The course covers:
Foundations of Restorative Yoga – history, philosophy, and the role of relaxation in the nervous system.
Evidence-Based Approach – integrating current research in physiology and neuroscience with traditional practice.
Props & Sequencing – how to skillfully use props, adapt postures, and design sequences that support healing.
Breathwork & Mindfulness – pranayama and meditation practices to encourage deep rest and self-awareness.
Teaching Methodology – creating inclusive, safe spaces, offering assists and adjustments, and developing professional confidence.
Special Applications – supporting people living with stress, chronic conditions, or during times of transition.
Graduates receive a 50-hour Restorative Yoga Teacher Training Certificate. The program is fully online and flexible, allowing participants to study at their own pace with video lectures, class observations, readings, and reflective assignments.
