NAT11053008 Teach pregnancy in motion repertoire describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to deliver Pilates sessions in studios and rehabilitation clinics for pregnant clients.
It requires the ability to apply fundamental anatomy and biomechanics, and safe exercise prescription in the design and delivery of exercise programs when working with pregnant clients.
This unit is applied by exercise specialists working independently, or working within an Allied Health practice whilst applying knowledge of psychological, emotional and physical changes experienced by pre-natal and post-natal clients.
