This workshop is designed to build on your knowledge of the Kettlebell. A good foundation was laid out in level 1 with a theoretical introduction and then the basic foundation kettlebell exercises introduced. This workshop now aims to arm trainers and Kettlebell enthusiasts up with an extended range of Kettlebell exercises that can be put in place with their own training and their clients training as well. The level two Kettlebell Workshop is broken into multiplesections… SECTION 1 This section focuses on what would be the most effective and specific way to warm up before a kettlebell session. It includes mobilisers - foam roller techniques and muscle activation exercises that will specifically contribute to effectively moving well whilst performingthe mainkettlebell exercises. THese can easily be applied to many PT clients also. Basic kettlebell handling exercises are also introduced to get the hands and nervous system activated at the optimal level. SECTION 2 Progressions of the level one traditional kettlebell exercises. However the key difference here is that the exercises are progressively enhanced and advanced in technical difficulty and stabilization. This adds and builds on the knowledge acquired in the level one kettlebell workshop. Progressions for the swing - clean - snatch and Turkish get-up are included here. These consist of training the abdominals with the kettlebell and having the body in various positions such as standing - sitting and lying down. The kettlebell is used in different movements such as being flipped - rotated and statically held. This section provides great variation and alternatives to normal traditional abdominal training. This includes… •KB Get Up Sit Up •KB Hook Swings •KB Flips •KB L Sit •KB Posterior Sit Up SECTION 5 Looks at bringing a number of the kettlebell exercises together to form combinations. These can be very demanding and are great for the cardio-vascular system - mental focus - grip strength - flexibility & muscular strength and endurance.
