Designed for fitness, exercise, and coach professionals. Covering depression, anxiety, disordered eating, psychosis, and substance use. A range of crises are reviewed from suicidal thoughts and behaviours, self-injury, panic attacks, traumatic events, acute effects from substance use, and psychotic states to aggressive behaviours. Newly updated to include digital awareness. Drawn from an extensive array of government and not-for-profit agencies and their resources this module will bring together the best information and resources and aims to raise awareness around mental health and mental health agencies, while highlighting some of the excellent mental health resources that are available in the community. It also aims to provide learners with evidence-based information on how to initially respond in a crisis.
