Each day is divided into 4 Blocks which will have separate online links. Each Block will also be recorded to allow better retention. This is designed specifically for teaching group exercise classes - however PT's will benefit enormously. This is NOT a repertoire course. We will not spend hours just learning an exercise with a specific set of cues. We will understand the 5 basic positions and what their purpose it. We will what Pilates is and how it differs to stretching and yoga [that we see so commonly in Pilates classes]. We will cover the basic set-up for each fundamental exercise within each of the 5 basic positions. We will explore the? principles of Pilates and learn how to use them. This will allow: 1. Improvement of your own technique. 2. A deeper understanding of how to create effective classes that work. 3. A journey into exploring teaching techniques that create powerful connections with participants using language that works for you. Then we can learn how to create challenge and variety safely - without loosing the essence of the Pilates method
