I'm a Personal Trainer (Cert III & IV in Fitness) who has been working with clients since 2016-17, specialising in helping people manage chronic pain and work through injury rehabilitation. My approach to training is conservative and gentle—I believe in meeting clients where they are and helping them build strength and confidence at their own pace.
Having worked in various fitness roles including gym instruction, CrossFit, and Les Mills classes early in my career, I've learned that sustainable progress comes from understanding your body rather than pushing through pain. My wife lives with chronic pain, which has given me personal insight into the daily challenges my clients face and reinforced my commitment to empathetic, patient coaching.
I hold Level 1 certifications in Animal Flow and Pre-script, which provide me with practical frameworks for designing programs and addressing movement issues more effectively. Before entering fitness, I spent years in the IT industry in technical and sales roles, and hold a Computer Science degree—this background helps me break down complex concepts and explain how the body works in ways that make sense to my clients.
I work with people one-on-one, in small semi-private groups and online, focusing particularly on those who understand that exercise should be part of their lives but aren't sure how to start safely. My goal is to share knowledge that empowers you to take control of your health and discover what your body can do, without the fear or uncertainty that often holds people back.
