From a lifetime as a participant, I now train people every day in aqua aerobics classes – shallow and deep water – high intensity interval training and regular workouts. It is really satisfying to help build people’s cardio fitness, balance, strength and muscular endurance, and watch as they grow greater confidence and improve their core strength, and celebrate their achievements. A range of optional equipment is used to challenge people’s strength, endurance and stamina and offer resistance training. I primarily work in Sydney's north and the inner city, with participants across a wide age range and ability.
