Renée Robson is a trauma-informed yoga, sports, and movement professional and educator. She delivers person-centred education programs that connect trauma-informed practice, somatic and nervous system literacy with leadership and systems applications, helping individuals and organisations cultivate genuine psychosocial safety.
Within the sports and fitness sector, Renée focuses on supporting leaders to embed trauma-informed practices into practice, team dynamics & systems She provides practical frameworks to navigate stress responses, enhance participant engagement, and support performance by prioritising choice, agency, and interoception. It’s all about trauma-informed practice beyond just abuse disclosure.
Her expertise extends from frontline movement facilitation to strategic organisational consulting. Backed by two decades of international experience leading HR and Learning/Organisational Development functions, Renée brings a structural lens to capability building. She works across all levels of the sector, supporting corporate boards and executives with risk and strategy down to frontline staff and grassroots volunteers.
As a specialist yoga educator, Renée holds a TCTSY-F certification in Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga and a Certificate in Traumatic Stress Studies from the Trauma Research Foundation. She trains teachers in trauma-informed facilitation and teaches Vinyasa, Yin, and Yoga Nidra. Grounded in lived experience and with a Master of Management, Renée operates a social enterprise model where commercial consulting funds pro bono training for small non-profits and volunteers.
