I’m Cindy Rella, a lifestyle athlete, movement coach, and founder of Rella’s Movement Studio. For over 30 years, sport and movement have shaped my life. From earning my 4th Dan in Karate and competing in the Ironman World Championship, to becoming a multiple Kettlebell World Champion with 33 gold medals and 13+ world records — I’ve experienced the highest highs and the deepest setbacks.
At one point, I pushed too hard, chasing success through karate and triathlon until my body broke down. Those experiences taught me my greatest lesson: true strength comes not from training harder, but training smarter. Learning to listen to my body, adapt, and find joy in movement changed everything — it’s what allowed me to thrive as an athlete and now as a coach.
Before founding Rella’s, I spent 20 years as a printing machinist, where my mechanical mind connected colour, design, and precision. That same way of thinking helped me see the body as a finely tuned system, where every moving part works together. After injuries, I intuitively used that awareness to heal myself and began helping others do the same.
Rella’s Movement Studio was born from this journey — a safe, inclusive space where movement is medicine, fitness is functional, and every body (regardless of age, stage, or ability) can build resilience, strength, and confidence. My approach bridges the gap between personal training and allied health, focusing on sustainable human movement that improves healthspan, prevents injury, and supports long-term vitality.
Now, as a post-menopausal woman, I’m passionate about reshaping the conversation around menopause for both women and men — turning it into a chapter of strength, understanding, and celebration. My mission is simple: to empower people to move with purpose, for a purpose, and embrace change. That’s our fitness difference.
